Operation Floating Sunshine brings encouragement to children in hospitals and women in shelters through balloons, handwritten cards, and thoughtful gifts. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Reading, Pennsylvania, serving nearby communities with small moments of sunshine.

Who we are

We are Ashton and Chance, two unpaid volunteers in Reading, PA. Teddy is our miniature golden retriever and the face on our balloon weights.

It started with a birthday wish. For her birthday, Ashton asked for balloons, one for every year of her life, to bring to the children's ward at the hospital where she was born.
